An extreme value problem related to mirror glass could involve determining the maximum or minimum thickness of the glass needed to produce a mirror with a certain level of reflectivity. This problem would involve optimizing the thickness of the glass to achieve the desired level of reflection while minimizing the amount of material used. It could also involve finding the maximum size of a mirror that can be produced from a given sheet of glass, taking into account factors such as weight and cost. These types of extreme value problems are important in the manufacturing and design of mirrors to ensure they meet performance requirements while being as efficient as possible. **

The increase in value of the McDonald's rainbow glass is significant due to its limited availability and high demand among collectors. The original price of the glass was around $1.99, but it can now be resold for hundreds or even thousands of dollars depending on its condition and rarity. This surge in value is driven by nostalgia, as well as the unique design and history associated with the glass. **

The selection of African elephants can be considered stabilizing selection. Stabilizing selection occurs when the average phenotype is favored, and extreme phenotypes are selected against. In the case of African elephants, traits such as tusk size and body size may be under stabilizing selection, as individuals with average-sized tusks and bodies are more likely to survive and reproduce. On the other hand, directional selection may also be at play in certain traits of African elephants. Directional selection occurs when one extreme phenotype is favored over the other, leading to a shift in the average phenotype over time. For example, if there is increased poaching pressure on elephants with larger tusks, this could lead to directional selection favoring individuals with smaller tusks. Overall, the selection of African elephants likely involves a combination of stabilizing and directional selection, depending on the specific traits and environmental pressures at play. **

Present value and future value are both concepts used in economics to evaluate the worth of money over time. Present value refers to the current value of a future sum of money, taking into account the time value of money and potential interest or discount rates. Future value, on the other hand, represents the value of an investment at a specific point in the future, taking into account the potential growth or interest earned over time. In essence, present value helps determine the current worth of a future sum of money, while future value helps determine the value of an investment at a future point in time. **

The Bundeswehr selection test is not an impossible selection process, but it is certainly challenging. The test is designed to assess a candidate's physical fitness, mental aptitude, and leadership potential. While it may be difficult, it is not impossible for candidates to pass the selection test with proper preparation and determination. The test is meant to identify individuals who are capable of meeting the demands of serving in the German armed forces, and those who successfully pass the test demonstrate their readiness for the role. **
