The government is heavily dominated by rich, old, white men due to a combination of historical privilege, systemic barriers to entry, and the influence of money in politics. Throughout history, white men have held positions of power and privilege, making it easier for them to access and maintain political power. Additionally, systemic barriers such as voter suppression, gerrymandering, and lack of representation in political institutions have made it difficult for marginalized groups to gain political power. Furthermore, the influence of money in politics allows wealthy individuals to have a disproportionate impact on elections and policy-making, further perpetuating the dominance of rich, old, white men in government. **

Softshell pants are not heavily insulated compared to other types of outdoor pants such as insulated or fleece-lined pants. They are designed to provide some warmth and protection from the elements, but their primary focus is on breathability, water resistance, and flexibility. Softshell pants are often used for high-intensity activities in cool to cold conditions where breathability and mobility are important. If heavy insulation is needed, it is better to opt for insulated pants or layering with a base layer underneath softshell pants. **
