Eastern European countries are generally poorer than Western European countries due to a combination of historical, political, and economic factors. Many Eastern European countries were under communist rule for several decades, which hindered economic development and innovation. Additionally, the transition from a planned economy to a market economy was challenging and led to economic instability. Furthermore, Western European countries have had more time to develop their economies and infrastructure, as well as benefit from earlier industrialization and access to global markets. These factors have contributed to the economic disparity between Eastern and Western European countries. **

A separate government in the Western zone refers to the establishment of a distinct governing body in the western part of a country or region. This can occur when there is a division or conflict within the country, leading to the creation of a separate government to administer the western region independently. This separate government may have its own leadership, laws, and administrative functions, distinct from the central government of the country. This arrangement is often a result of political, cultural, or historical factors that have led to the division of power within the country. **
